Still sucks?
Does Mike still suck?. I don't know. You Red Sox fan tell me.
I just took back ownership of this blog (sorry David, you didn't do anything) but I'm not aware of how Mike is doing it now. I'm so pissed off with the Marlins that I decided to skip Baseball for this season.
I'm no longer interested in keeping this blog or the domain mikelowellsucks.com, thus the offer to give them away is still open.
However, conditions for transferring ownership still remain the same:
1. You have to prove everyone you're the right person for this job. I'll grant you access to do some guest posting and depending of it, me and/or your fellow Bostonians will decide if you qualify.
2. You must promise me, and more important, promise the Red Sox Nation you'll continue the work of this blog and you'll spread your hate against this sucker.
3. Finally and in case Mike Lowell gets traded to another team, you will do the same as I did and will transfer everything to one of the fans of the next unlucky team.
Write me to mikelowellsucks [at] gmail [dot] com only if you are really and seriously interested.

How is he doing?
Gold Glove Defense
.331 batting average
.387 OBP
.943 OPS
20 RBI
20 Runs scored
and leading the majors with 19 doubles
So, yeah, no. Mike Lowell doesn't suck.
I disagree Andrew - Mike Lowell does still suck.... at least from the point of view of Marlins fans. What could possibly suck more for them then the fact that a guy who was dumped is having a great year for us in Boston.
Any other 'sucky' Marlins players you guys want to give us?
your problem sounds like it lays in the hands of the Marlins being a real shitty team. They may have won two WS in the last 6 years but honestly blaming it on Mike Lowell sounds like a personal problem. You should be a Mike Lowell fan instead of a Marlins fan. You might find out that he'll make you happier in your quest for good baseball. Thanks for offering the web site but nobody wants some dumb shit like this. Erase it from the Web.
This has to be the supidest fucking blog I've ever seen. Mike lowell at 7.5 million may be expensive for the marlins but is a bargain for the sox. He admittedly had a bad year last year, so what? You never mistakes?
He's currently 1st in MLB in doubles.
He's got the 2nd best fielding percentage for a third baseman in the bigs.
8th in batting avg. for 3B
As of 7/24, Mr. Lowell has:
35 Doubles (1st overall)
52 RBIs
.294 Avg
.845 OPS
49 extra base hits (13th overall)
.986 fielding % (2nd among starting 3rd basemen in AL)
This is comparable to his performance in '02, '03 and '04.
The man helped your team win 2 world series. Yet, you choose to devote a site to the one bad year that he had. Amazing. I thought Red Sox fans were some the biggest hard asses out there -- but they're just a bunch of pikers compared to you.
Let it go, dude. Let it go.
For the 2006 season, Mike Lowell ended up with:
.284 BA
.814 OPS
20 HR
80 RBI
47 Doubles
.987 FPCT
Not a bad season, especially given the fact that the lower part of the Red Sox lineup was very weak this season.
He had just luck.. hopefully he'll disappoint you next season.
Nope, you can keep hoping though.
Mike Lowell. 2007 World Series MVP.
Still think he sucks?
2007 World Series MVP... You could NOT be more wrong! I think you're alone on this, so close this stupid blog and get a life!
I can't believe this website is still up. We LOVE Mike Lowell in Boston! 2007 World Series MVP... yeah, he sucks... NOT!!
the fact that this blog exists gives everyone a good indication of the IQ of the average Marlins fan. i know i live in marlin country.
your just jelouse
